Competent but communication could be more consistent

I hired Mr. Serure to assist with a complex commercial lease negotiation for my small business in downtown LA. His background from the University of Pennsylvania and his recognition in real estate law were evident in his grasp of the intricate clauses and his strategic advice during the drafting phase. He clearly has the eight years of experience and the expertise to handle such matters. However, my experience was a mixed bag. While the final outcome was satisfactory, the process felt somewhat disjointed. Response times to emails were inconsistent, sometimes taking several days, which created anxiety during time-sensitive negotiations. There were also moments where I felt I had to follow up repeatedly to get updates on the other party's counter-proposals. For the premium associated with a firm like McDermott Will & Schulte, I expected a more proactive and streamlined communication style. He is a knowledgeable attorney who achieved the core legal objective, but the client service aspect fell short of my expectations for a seamless experience.
