A formidable advocate in complex commercial litigation

Our company faced a high-stakes, multi-district class action lawsuit that threatened significant financial and reputational damage. We engaged Lucus Ritchie at Pierce Atwood, and it was the best decision we could have made. Lucus’s deep, two-decade experience in complex commercial disputes was immediately evident. He possesses a rare combination of strategic foresight and meticulous attention to detail. His specific focus on class action defense was invaluable; he navigated the procedural complexities and aggressive plaintiff’s counsel with a calm, commanding presence. Lucus’s background, from his academic honors at Boston College and Lewis & Clark to his recognition in legal directories for commercial and banking litigation, translates directly into exceptional courtroom and negotiation skills. He explained every step clearly, managed our expectations realistically, and ultimately secured a dismissal that exceeded our hopes.
