Her background in Insurance Law was evident from our initial consultation; she clearly understood the nuances of the policy language and the regulatory landscape in Illinois. Her recognition in the field gave me confidence. The legal strategy she developed was sound and ultimately helped us reach a settlement that avoided litigation. However, the experience was not without its frustrations. While the substantive work was good, there were often significant delays in receiving responses to emails or updates on case developments. At times, it felt like I had to follow up multiple times to get a status report, which added unnecessary stress. For straightforward legal matters, her expertise is solid, but if you require consistent, proactive communication, you may need to set very clear expectations from the outset. She is a capable attorney who knows her practice area, but the client service aspect could be more attentive.
