Competent on corporate structure, but communication was inconsistent

Leanna Longley at Taft assisted my partners and me with forming a new LLC for a small retail venture in Minneapolis. Her knowledge of business organizations is evident, and her recognition in that area is well-deserved. The operating agreement she drafted was thorough and addressed key partnership concerns. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. There were periods of several days where we didn't receive updates, and responses to follow-up emails were occasionally slower than expected. While the legal work was solid and she clearly understands corporate formalities, managing client expectations on timelines could be improved. For straightforward corporate matters, she gets the job done competently, but you may need to be proactive in seeking status updates.
