Lawrence A. Ceriello is a partner in the firm's Real Estate Group.Mr. Ceriello advises commercial lenders, investment banks, life insurers, hedge funds and other institutional investors in connection with major real estate transactions, particularly those involving complex debt financings and securitizations.
He has nearly three decades of experience originating mortgage loans secured by large commercial real estate projects including shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, industrial buildings and multi-family properties, with a particular emphasis on multi-property transactions and loans intended for CMBS securitizations (both single-asset and pools). He also regularly advises clients on the origination of mezzanine loans and preferred equity in commercial real estate investments. In addition, Mr.
Ceriello has extensive experience in the purchase, sale, restructuring and foreclosure of performing and non-performing commercial mortgage and mezzanine loans.Mr. Ceriello earned his J.D. from St.
