Competent on zoning variance, communication could improve

I hired Lauren Gallagher to assist with a complex zoning variance for a property I was developing in the Philadelphia suburbs. Her background in Land Use and Zoning Law, and the recognition she's received in that field, gave me confidence. She was knowledgeable about the municipal codes and the hearing process. The outcome was ultimately successful, which is the most important thing. However, there were periods during the representation where communication was slower than I would have preferred, and I sometimes had to follow up for updates. For straightforward legal matters in her recognized practice areas, she is certainly capable. My experience was positive on the technical front, though the client service aspect felt just adequate at times.
