Competent corporate counsel, but communication could improve

Laura Hannigan at Holland & Knight provided solid legal guidance for our company's recent acquisition of a smaller competitor. Her recognized expertise in M&A law was evident in the contract structuring. However, response times were sometimes slower than expected, and we occasionally felt we had to follow up for updates. The work product was thorough, but the process felt less collaborative than we'd hoped. She is clearly knowledgeable in corporate law, but the client service aspect was just adequate for our needs.
