Laura Guinta Gencarelli, Esq. joined Sarno da Costa D'Aniello Maceri LLC as an associate in February 2014 and became a partner in January 2018. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2007 and has been a member of the New Jersey bar since 2008.
She served as a law clerk to the Honorable James S. Rothschild, Jr., J.S.C., Family Part, Essex County, from September 2007 to September 2008. Ms.
Gencarelli was then associated with the law firm of Garrity, Graham, Murphy, Garofalo & Flinn of East Hanover, New Jersey, from September 2008 to February 2014, where she specialized in family law, commercial litigation and real estate. Her practice is now exclusively devoted to all aspects of family law.Ms. Gencarelli is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Essex County and Passaic County Bar Associations, and a member in the Barry I.
Croland Inns of Court. Ms. Gencarelli completed the National Family Law Trial Institute in Houston, Texas in May 2017.
She volunteers as an Early Settlement Panelist in Passaic County, and represents victims of domestic violence pro bono through the Jersey Battered Women’s Service.While in law school, Ms. Gencarelli completed internships at the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rowan University in 2003.
