A solid, experienced attorney for corporate matters

I engaged Kenneth Sugita and his firm to assist with the sale of my family's small business. His deep experience, spanning nearly six decades, was immediately apparent. He is clearly knowledgeable, and his recognition in corporate law by Best Lawyers is well-earned. The transaction was handled competently from a legal standpoint. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. While Mr. Sugita's expertise is undeniable, much of the direct communication was handled by junior associates, and there were occasional delays in receiving responses to our questions. For a straightforward corporate matter, his firm provides reliable service. If you are seeking a highly experienced, recognized attorney to ensure the legalities are correct, he is a good choice. Just be prepared for a more traditional, hierarchical firm structure where access to the senior partner himself may be limited.
