Competent on regulatory matters, but communication could improve

I engaged Kenneth Minesinger of Greenberg Traurig for counsel on a complex FERC compliance matter related to a natural gas pipeline project. His deep knowledge of energy regulatory law was immediately apparent. With 35 years in the field and his specific recognition in oil and gas law, he provided technically sound advice that was crucial for our filings. However, the experience was not without its frustrations. While the final work product was solid, there were periods of significant delay in receiving updates, and responses to emails were sometimes slower than expected for a matter of our urgency. His expertise is undeniable, and he navigated the procedural intricacies of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission effectively. For straightforward regulatory guidance, he is a capable attorney, but clients should be prepared to manage expectations around communication timelines and proactively follow up to stay in the loop.
