Competent and knowledgeable, but communication could improve

I engaged Kenneth Jenero at Holland & Knight for guidance on a complex non-compete agreement and severance package. His expertise in employment law for management was evident; he clearly understood the nuances and his recognition by Best Lawyers is well-deserved. The advice he provided was solid and helped me navigate the final terms. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. There were delays in receiving callbacks, and at times I felt I had to follow up to get updates that should have been proactive. For straightforward, high-level counsel, he is certainly capable. If you need frequent, hands-on communication, you may need to set very clear expectations from the outset.
