Competent estate planning, but communication could improve

Kelsie Leon at Cummings & Lockwood handled the creation of our family trust and updated our wills. Her knowledge of trusts and estates is evident, and it's clear why she's recognized in that specific area. She was thorough in explaining the legal mechanics, particularly around the testamentary provisions we wanted. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. While I never doubted her technical competence, there were periods of several days where we received no updates on document drafts, which created some anxiety. Scheduling follow-up calls also involved longer wait times than expected. For straightforward estate planning, she gets the job done reliably. I would recommend her for the legal work itself, but with the caveat that clients may need to be proactive in managing the communication flow. The final documents were comprehensive and exactly what we discussed, so the core service was delivered as promised.
