Competent but communication could be more consistent

Kelly handled my uncontested divorce using the collaborative process. Her background in family law and recent recognition in that area were evident; she was knowledgeable about the Texas statutes and kept things amicable. The final settlement was fair. However, the experience felt a bit transactional. There were occasional delays in email responses, sometimes taking several business days, which added to my stress. While she explained the collaborative law framework clearly at the outset, I sometimes felt like just another case moving through the system rather than a client. For straightforward matters, she is a capable attorney, but you may need to manage expectations regarding communication timelines.
