Competent on the deal, but communication could improve

Katherine Prusinkiewicz at Norton Rose Fulbright handled the securities law aspects of our recent small-scale acquisition. Her technical knowledge was evident, particularly in navigating the regulatory filings required for the transaction. It's clear why she's recognized in M&A and securities law; the substantive work on the purchase agreement was thorough. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. As a relatively newer attorney, she was sometimes difficult to reach directly, with updates often coming through junior staff or after follow-up on our end. For a straightforward deal, her competence was adequate and the outcome was successful. For clients who prioritize constant, direct communication from their lead attorney, setting clear expectations upfront would be advisable. She knows her field but is still developing her client management rhythm.
