Skilled and knowledgeable, but communication could improve
Katherine McDowell and her team at McDowell Rackner Gibson are clearly experts, especially in the complex energy regulatory space. Her decades of experience and recent awards are well-earned. She capably handled a contract dispute for my small renewable energy firm. However, the process felt less collaborative than I'd hoped. Responses to emails were sometimes delayed by several days, and I occasionally felt out of the loop on procedural next steps. While the legal outcome was satisfactory, managing expectations and maintaining a steady flow of communication would have made a significant difference in the client experience. You get solid legal work, but need patience.
