Experienced and capable, but communication could improve

I consulted with her regarding a complex non-compete agreement and potential separation from my former employer in Cincinnati. Her analysis of the contractual risks was thorough and grounded in her 36 years of practice. However, my experience was mixed. While the legal strategy she outlined was sound, there were often significant delays in receiving responses to my emails, which added to my stress during the negotiation period. The billing was also higher than initially anticipated. She is undoubtedly a skilled practitioner in labor and employment matters, as her profile indicates, but the client service aspects felt merely adequate. For straightforward, high-stakes matters, her expertise is valuable, but be prepared to manage expectations around communication.
