Competent defense in a complex medical device case

Katelyn Ashton represented our company in a product liability suit concerning a surgical implant. Her technical knowledge of the healthcare and medical device sector, as noted in her professional recognitions, was evident and provided a solid foundation for our defense. The legal strategy she developed was sound. However, the experience was marked by significant delays in communication. Responses to emails often took several days, and updates on case developments felt reactive rather than proactive. While the outcome of our matter was ultimately satisfactory, the process required more client management on our end than anticipated. For straightforward, high-stakes defense work, her expertise from Butler Snow's dedicated group is reliable, but be prepared to manage expectations around accessibility.
