Competent and experienced, but communication could improve

I hired Justin Cohen for a contract dispute with a former business partner. His litigation background from Brownstein Hyatt and his recognized expertise in commercial matters were evident in his courtroom strategy, which was solid. He clearly has the 13 years of experience his profile states. However, the process felt somewhat transactional. Responses to emails were sometimes slower than I'd hoped, and I occasionally had to follow up for updates. He achieved a reasonable settlement, but the client experience felt more adequate than exceptional.
