I hired Julie Dore at BCF to assist with the acquisition of a small local business. Her background in corporate law and the recognition she's received in Mergers and Acquisitions were evident in her handling of the due diligence and contract review. She was technically proficient and identified several key issues we hadn't considered. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the legal work was solid, there were often significant delays in receiving responses to emails, which added to our stress during time-sensitive negotiations. Her relative newness to practice (one year of experience) showed at times in managing client expectations around process and timelines.
