Competent but communication could be improved

I hired Julianne Brock at Murphy Desmond to handle a complex child custody modification. As a recent graduate from UW-Madison, her legal knowledge was evident, and she was clearly well-versed in the procedural aspects of family law. It was reassuring to know she has been recognized in this specific field. The outcome of my case was ultimately fair and in line with what we discussed. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. There were periods where communication was slower than I would have liked, with responses to emails sometimes taking several days. This created some anxiety during an already stressful process. While her legal work was solid, setting clearer expectations about timelines and maintaining more consistent updates would have made a significant difference. She is a capable attorney, but the client service aspect felt just adequate.
