Knowledgeable but communication could be more consistent

I engaged Judd Montgomery of Givens Pursley to assist with the acquisition of a small medical office building in Boise, a transaction that involved both real estate and healthcare regulatory considerations. His deep experience, spanning over three decades, was evident from the start. He is clearly a recognized expert in these areas, and his advice on structuring the LLC and navigating the specific compliance issues was invaluable and gave us confidence. The work product was solid. However, the experience was not without its frustrations. At times, there were noticeable delays in receiving responses to emails, which created some anxiety during the due diligence period. While his explanations were thorough when we had his full attention, they sometimes felt rushed during scheduled calls, as if he was moving quickly to the next item. For straightforward matters within his wheelhouse, like this one, he is certainly competent and gets the job done. Just be prepared to manage expectations around communication timelines and to be proactive in following up if you need timely updates.
