Competent and knowledgeable, but communication could improve

I hired Mr. Kopchick at Haar & Woods for a complex business contract dispute. His background from Harvard and his recognition in commercial litigation were evident in his strategic approach to the case, which was ultimately resolved favorably. His analysis of the appellate risks was particularly sharp. However, for a three-star rating, I have to note that there were periods where responses to emails took several days, which added to my stress. While his legal expertise in white-collar and general practice matters is solid, the client communication experience felt more transactional than collaborative. He is clearly a capable attorney, but managing client expectations on timelines could be enhanced.
