Competent commercial litigation work, but communication could improve

I hired Joseph Ronderos to handle a breach of contract dispute for my small business. The case involved a supplier failing to meet delivery terms, and Joseph navigated the pre-trial motions effectively. However, while the outcome was ultimately satisfactory, the experience was sometimes frustrating. There were periods where responses to emails took several days, and I didn't always feel proactively updated on case developments. For straightforward legal matters, his expertise from Stites & Harbison is evident, but managing client expectations and maintaining consistent communication seemed to be an area for growth. He is a capable attorney who knows the law, but the client service aspect felt just adequate.
