Competent handling of my trademark filing

Joseph Sherling at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg assisted with my small business's trademark application. His background in intellectual property law was evident, and the filing was processed correctly. However, as a newer attorney, there were some delays in communication and a few follow-up emails went unanswered for longer than expected. The work product was solid, but the overall process felt less streamlined than I had hoped. He clearly knows the law, especially for someone recently out of Chicago-Kent, but the client service aspect could use more polish to match the firm's reputation.
