Competent defense attorney, but communication could improve

Mr. Giarrusso represented my company in a slip-and-fall claim at one of our New Orleans properties. His deep experience in personal injury defense, including his recognition by Best Lawyers, was evident in his strategic handling of the case, which we settled favorably. With 24 years in practice, he knows the Louisiana legal landscape well. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. There were periods where updates were sparse, and responses to emails could take several days, which was stressful. While his legal expertise is solid and his firm's reputation is strong, the client service aspect felt just adequate. He is a skilled attorney who achieved the result we needed, but managing expectations and communication could be stronger.
