Our company faced a significant commercial dispute with a former business partner, and the situation was becoming increasingly contentious. We engaged Trey Thompson based on his long-standing reputation in the Charleston area and his specific background in commercial litigation. From our first meeting, his 30+ years of experience were evident. He navigated the complexities of our contract and partnership issues with a strategic, clear-eyed approach that avoided unnecessary escalation. His deep knowledge of South Carolina law and his calm, methodical demeanor were invaluable. While we hoped to avoid court, Trey prepared our case as if trial were certain, which ultimately gave us the leverage needed to secure a highly favorable settlement. His recognition as a 'Lawyer of the Year' is well-deserved. We could not have asked for better representation.
