I engaged Joseph Maya of Maya Murphy PC after facing a difficult non-compete and severance dispute with my former employer in Fairfield County. With 37 years of practice, his deep experience in employment law for both management and individuals was immediately apparent. He provided a clear, strategic assessment of my situation, drawing on his extensive background that began, interestingly, as a paralegal in New York. His recognition in employment law is well-deserved. Mr. Maya was thorough, personally invested, and ultimately negotiated a resolution that protected my career trajectory far better than I had hoped. While communication response times could occasionally be a day or two during very busy periods, the quality of his work never wavered. I highly recommend him for anyone in the Westport area needing seasoned legal guidance on employment matters.
