Competent on government relations, but communication was inconsistent

I engaged Jordan Fleischer at Morris, Manning & Martin for guidance on a regulatory compliance matter related to a federal agency. His background from The George Washington University and his recognition in Government Relations Practice were clear assets; he understood the procedural nuances in Washington, D.C. The legal strategy he proposed was sound and ultimately helped us navigate the issue. However, the experience was mixed. While Jordan is clearly knowledgeable, there were periods where communication lagged significantly, making it difficult to get status updates. Responses to emails sometimes took several days, and I occasionally felt I had to follow up to move things along. For straightforward matters within his recognized expertise, he is certainly capable, but you should be prepared to manage expectations regarding responsiveness. The work product was good, but the client service aspect felt just adequate.
