Competent on antitrust matters, but communication could improve

Jonathan Wright assisted our mid-sized tech firm with a preliminary review of a potential competitor collaboration that raised antitrust concerns. His analysis of the legal landscape, particularly regarding the Sherman Act, was precise and demonstrated the expertise that likely contributed to his recognition in antitrust law by Best Lawyers. He correctly identified the key risk areas and provided a solid, conservative roadmap. However, our experience was mixed on the service front. While Jonathan is clearly knowledgeable, there were noticeable delays in receiving follow-up emails, sometimes taking several business days for a brief reply. For a firm of WilmerHale's stature, we expected more proactive updates. Setting expectations on response times at the outset would have helped. His one-on-one advice during our meeting was valuable, but the overall client management felt a bit disjointed for a matter we considered urgent. He is a capable attorney for the substantive legal work, especially for someone with his level of experience, but the administrative and communication aspects of the engagement were merely adequate.
