Skilled and diligent guidance on a complex maritime contract

We engaged Jonas Patzwall at Liskow & Lewis to assist our mid-sized engineering firm with a complex vessel construction and charter agreement. While Jonas has only been practicing for a year, his work product and strategic insight were impressive. He clearly operates within a strong framework at the firm, benefiting from the deep maritime expertise of partners like Cindy Matherne Muller, who leads their Houston office. Jonas demonstrated a firm grasp of the contractual risks specific to offshore projects, particularly around liability caps and force majeure clauses in the current market. He was proactive in identifying potential disputes over delivery milestones and drafted very clear, protective language. His explanations were thorough yet accessible, which we greatly appreciated. The one area where we experienced a slight delay was in receiving initial drafts; communication was always clear, but turnaround times during peak periods could be a bit slower than expected. This is a minor critique in an otherwise excellent representation. For a matter requiring specialized maritime knowledge in Houston, Jonas and Liskow & Lewis provided outstanding value and we would not hesitate to work with him again.
