Competent and experienced, but communication could improve

I hired Jon Kukucka to handle a complex post-judgment modification involving child support and custody. His 19 years of experience in family law were evident, and his recognition in areas like arbitration gave me confidence in his strategic approach. He was knowledgeable and ultimately achieved a fair outcome. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. Response times to emails were occasionally slower than expected, and I sometimes had to follow up for updates. While I appreciate his expertise and the solid result from his Hartford firm, clearer and more proactive communication would have made the stressful experience smoother. He is a capable attorney, but managing client expectations is an area for growth.
