My company needed to secure L-1 visas for several key employees being transferred from our European headquarters to our new Miami office. The process was daunting, with tight deadlines and intricate regulatory requirements. We chose John Pratt based on his firm's strong reputation and his specific certification in Immigration & Nationality Law from the Florida Bar. From our first meeting, his 28 years of experience were evident. He didn't just recite rules; he explained the strategic landscape, drawing on his deep background in administrative law to anticipate potential hurdles with USCIS. His philosophical approach, perhaps from his FSU degree, helped him frame arguments with remarkable clarity. The entire team at Kurzban Kurzban was thorough, and having a partner of his caliber directly involved was invaluable. Our petitions were approved without requests for evidence, which saved us significant time and stress. The only slight critique, and why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, is that during the final document preparation phase, there were a couple of instances where follow-up emails took a day or two longer than expected for a response, likely due to his busy caseload. That said, his expertise is top-tier. For anyone in Coral Gables facing a complex immigration or regulatory matter, John Pratt provides a formidable combination of knowledge, strategy, and practical results.
