A solid, experienced attorney for business employment matters

I engaged John Lichtenberg at Rhoades McKee to assist my small healthcare practice with a complex employee contract dispute. With his 45 years of experience and recognition in litigation and ERISA, I had confidence in his deep knowledge of the law, particularly regarding benefit plans and employment relationships in Michigan. He provided competent legal analysis and his strategy was sound. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. Communication was not as proactive as I had hoped; responses to emails sometimes took several days, and I occasionally felt I had to follow up to get updates. While he successfully resolved our issue, the process lacked the personal touch and regular client guidance I expected from an attorney of his stature. He is undoubtedly a skilled practitioner in his field, but managing client expectations and communication could be improved.
