Adequate counsel for a municipal bond issuance

Mr. Peterson's deep experience in public finance law, including his recent Lawyer of the Year recognition, was the primary reason we engaged him for our city's general obligation bond issuance. His knowledge of the process across multiple states was evident, and the transaction closed successfully. However, our experience was mixed. While the final work product was sound, communication was often routed through junior associates, and direct responses from Mr. Peterson himself could take several days. For a straightforward financing, his firm's services were competent but felt somewhat impersonal given his stature. The outcome was as expected, though the process lacked the proactive guidance we anticipated from an attorney with over five decades of practice.
