Competent handling of a complex estate tax matter

Jennifer Williams Davis capably handled a contested estate tax issue for our family. Her knowledge of tax law, underscored by her recent 'Lawyer of the Year' recognition, was evident. She provided sound strategic advice that ultimately resolved the matter with the IRS. However, communication was sometimes delayed, and responses to our questions could take several days. While her legal expertise is solid, the overall client experience felt more transactional than collaborative. She is a skilled attorney, but managing client expectations could be improved.
