Competent but communication could be more consistent

Attorney De Angelis handled my medical malpractice case after a surgical error. Her recognition in this area by Best Lawyers was a key factor in my choice, and her legal strategy was sound. She clearly knows the law and the local Fort Worth courts. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. There were periods where updates were sparse, and I sometimes waited longer than expected for replies to emails. While the outcome of my case was acceptable, the process felt less personal than I had hoped given the sensitive nature of the situation. She is a capable attorney who gets the job done, but managing client expectations and communication could be improved.
