Professional but missing personal touch

I worked with Jennifer Huston on a complex divorce case involving significant financial holdings. Her expertise in asset discovery and mediation was evident, and she clearly knew the ins and outs of family law. Ms. Huston’s legal acumen was particularly helpful when negotiating the division of retirement accounts and business interests. While she was thorough in her approach, I found the communication could have been more proactive. There were times when I had to follow up for updates, which led to some frustration. Additionally, her availability for quick consultations was limited, which made it challenging during key moments in the process. Overall, she handled the legal aspects competently, but I expected more personal engagement and timely responsiveness given her extensive experience and recognition in family law. The outcome was fair, but the journey could have been smoother with better communication.
