Competent on IP litigation, but communication could improve

Jeffrey Soller at WilmerHale provided solid legal support for a software copyright dispute I was involved in. His background in intellectual property litigation from Indiana University Law was evident, and his firm's reputation is well-deserved. The legal strategy he helped develop was sound. However, for a matter that felt urgent to my small business, there were sometimes delays in receiving email responses or callbacks, which added to our stress. While his recognized expertise in this area is clear, the day-to-day client management felt a bit detached. He is undoubtedly knowledgeable and got us to a reasonable resolution, but the process required more proactive updates on his part.
