A competent attorney, but communication could be improved

I engaged Jeff Pasek at Cozen O'Connor to advise my mid-sized manufacturing company on a complex wage and hour compliance issue. There is no question about his deep expertise in employment law for management. His background, including his recognition as a Lawyer of the Year in Philadelphia, was a primary reason for our selection. He quickly grasped the nuances of our situation, and his analysis of the potential FLSA violations was thorough and strategically sound. The documentation he prepared was impeccable. However, the experience was not without its frustrations. While his final advice was valuable, there were often significant delays in receiving responses to emails, sometimes stretching to several business days, which created anxiety during time-sensitive phases. Furthermore, his billing summaries, while detailed, sometimes lacked clear explanations for certain block charges, making it difficult for our finance team to reconcile. For straightforward, high-stakes legal strategy, Jeff’s nearly two decades of experience are evident and reliable.
