He referenced specific code sections and procedural nuances with ease, clearly drawing from his decades of experience. His recent recognition as 'Lawyer of the Year' in this field is well-earned, and his credentials from NYU and Yale are impressive. Ultimately, the resolution was favorable. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. Communication was primarily through junior associates, with direct updates from Jack being brief and infrequent. While I never doubted his strategic competence, the process lacked the personal touch and proactive guidance I expected at this level. For highly complex, high-stakes tax litigation, his expertise is undeniable. Just be prepared for a more hands-off, firm-driven approach unless you are very assertive in managing the client-attorney relationship.
