I hired Jason V. Federmack for a labor and employment dispute involving a non-compete clause, an area where he has recognized expertise. While he clearly knows the intricacies of employment law—his recognition by Best Lawyers speaks to that—my experience was somewhat lackluster in execution. The initial consultation was thorough, and he outlined a solid strategy, but communication became inconsistent as the case progressed. Emails were often delayed by a day or two, and follow-up calls were infrequent. He handled the legal aspects competently, but I expected more attentiveness from an attorney of his caliber. The resolution was satisfactory, but the process left me feeling like a lower priority. For someone with his credentials, a more proactive approach would elevate the experience. Would consider him again, but with adjusted expectations.
