Competent counsel for a complex partnership dispute

I engaged Jason Oletsky at Akerman for a contentious partnership dissolution involving intellectual property assets. His 18 years of experience and recognition in litigation were evident; he understood the nuances of the commercial and IP issues immediately. The legal strategy he developed was sound and ultimately protected my interests. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. Communication could be inconsistent—at times I waited longer than expected for updates, and some of the billing explanations were less detailed than I would have preferred. While I felt I was in capable hands legally, the client service aspect felt more transactional. He is a knowledgeable attorney, but managing expectations on the procedural side could be improved.
