Competent corporate counsel, but communication could improve

I engaged Jason Navarino at Riker Danzig to assist with the formation of a new LLC and the drafting of an operating agreement for a small business venture in Madison. His background in corporate law, including the recognition noted by Best Lawyers, was evident in the thoroughness of the documents produced. The final agreements were comprehensive and professionally drafted, providing a solid legal foundation. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While Jason was knowledgeable when we spoke, there were noticeable delays in email responses, sometimes taking several business days for a reply. This created some uncertainty during the process. Furthermore, the billing structure and timeline for completion weren't as clearly outlined at the outset as I would have preferred, leading to minor surprises. For straightforward corporate matters, he is certainly capable, but managing client expectations and communication cadence could be enhanced. The work product was good, but the overall service experience felt just adequate.
