Our mid-sized manufacturing company retained Jane McFetridge to handle a complex wrongful termination lawsuit that arose during the pandemic's operational upheaval. Her deep, 36-year career in Chicago's legal landscape was immediately apparent. Jane's expertise in employment law management was crucial; she deftly navigated the intersecting issues of workplace safety protocols and alleged retaliation. Her recognition in labor and employment litigation is well-deserved—her strategic approach during depositions was particularly impressive. We felt confident with her counsel from Northwestern University's strong legal foundation. The case settled favorably for us, protecting the company from significant liability. While Jane's billing is commensurate with her experience and the firm's stature, some initial communications regarding routine updates could have been slightly more prompt. Overall, she is a tremendous asset for any Illinois business facing serious employment disputes.
