Competent on the banking litigation, communication could improve

I hired Jim Rusher at Albright, Rusher & Hardcastle to handle a dispute with a local bank over a commercial loan default. His background in Litigation - Banking and Finance was evident, and his recognition in that area gave me confidence. He clearly understood the nuances of Oklahoma banking law and his 16 years of experience showed in his strategy. The case was resolved adequately. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. At times, there were noticeable delays in returning calls or emails, which added to my stress. While I never doubted his legal competence, I sometimes felt out of the loop on procedural timelines. For a straightforward banking litigation matter in Detroit, he gets the job done, but you may need to be proactive in managing communication expectations.
