A formidable advocate with decades of experience

After my son was charged with a serious federal offense, our family was in a state of panic. We consulted with several attorneys, but meeting Mr. Sultan was different. His 45 years of experience, particularly his deep knowledge of both state and federal courts, was immediately apparent. He didn't just recite legal principles; he explained the strategic landscape, drawing on what felt like a lifetime of precedent. His recognition in areas like Appellate Practice and Criminal Defense wasn't just a line on a profile—it translated into a nuanced understanding of how to build a defense that could withstand appeal from day one. He was meticulous, prepared, and his reputation with prosecutors was evident in the respectful, yet firm, negotiations. Ultimately, he secured a result far better than we dared hope for. The only slight drawback was that during the initial, intense phases, communication from his office could sometimes take a day to receive, as he is clearly in high demand. That minor point aside, his expertise from Harvard Law and his tenure at Rankin & Sultan made him worth every penny. We felt represented by a true master of his craft.
