Competent on employment law, but communication could improve

I hired Mr. Provencher from Le Corre & Associés to assist with a wrongful dismissal case against my former employer in Milwaukee. His background in Labour and Employment Law, including the recognition he's received in that field, was evident. He clearly understood the nuances of my situation and provided a solid, strategic approach. His education from Université Laval and his experience representing clients in the U.S. gave me confidence in his foundational knowledge. Ultimately, the matter was resolved with a settlement that I found acceptable. However, my experience was a mixed bag. While his legal advice was sound, practical aspects of the client relationship were merely adequate. Response times to emails were often slower than I would have liked, sometimes taking several business days. There were also moments where I felt I had to follow up to get updates on my case's status, which added to my stress. For straightforward employment matters, he is certainly capable, but you should be prepared to manage your expectations regarding communication and proactive updates. He did the job competently, but the service aspect didn't exceed expectations.
