Competent representation but communication could improve

Mr. DiPiero represented me in a complex business dispute that had significant financial stakes. His deep experience in bet-the-company litigation was evident, and his recognition as Lawyer of the Year in that field was reassuring. He clearly knows the West Virginia legal landscape inside and out. The outcome of my case was ultimately favorable. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal at times. Responses to emails could take several days, and I occasionally had to follow up for updates. While his strategic advice was sound, managing client expectations on timelines and communication could be better. For high-stakes matters, his expertise is solid, but be prepared for a hands-off communication style.
