Knowledgeable but communication could improve

I worked with Mr. Kopp on a complex employment matter involving ERISA compliance and conflict resolution. His expertise in labor and employment law was evident, and I appreciated his deep understanding of the legal landscape, particularly given his recognition as a Lawyer of the Year in these areas. However, I found the communication less than ideal. While his responses were thorough, they often took longer than expected, and follow-ups required proactive effort on my part. The case itself was handled competently, and I don’t doubt his legal acumen, but the experience felt a bit impersonal. For someone with his background, I expected smoother, more timely interactions. Overall, a solid attorney, but if you value responsiveness, this could be an area for improvement.
