Competent and experienced, but communication could improve

I hired J. Brent Moore to assist with a complex regulatory compliance issue for my small business, which intersected with local Santa Fe ordinances and state-level administrative law. With his 27 years of experience and recognition in Government Relations and Administrative Law, I was confident in his technical expertise, and that confidence was largely justified. He clearly understood the nuances of dealing with state agencies and provided sound legal strategy. However, the experience was not without its frustrations. While his legal analysis was solid, communication was sometimes slower than I would have preferred. There were periods where I had to follow up multiple times for updates, and explanations, while thorough when received, weren't always proactive.
